Jogging and Running Success Story, Day 3 Friday

It was Friday and was incredibly colder than the first two days of my dedicated renewed running activity. When I got out of the house, I wanted to run back! I was not able to anticipate the cold morning. It was only later when the sun rays was visible when I noted that it was very foggy and misty, explaining the wetness and the coldness of the early hours..

In short, I succeeded on the third day, that Friday! I was so glad to have reached the last day of the week with a success and never breaking my promise to myself! Thogh I think I need more motivation, for now, it's a big achievement for me already.

I also went to work walking, leaving my bike at home and I walked back home as well. It was a great successful week!

The Music of Shaggy Helps ME Run!

Yes, Shaggy is one of the big helps I get whenever I run in the very early, dark and cold morning. Attached is one of the best songs that make me move my feet. Honestly, I want to hear the Allegretto of the Bond but my download in the mp3 is not so good that I am constricted with Shaggy...but no regrets, I love his baritone voice and his style. Only now I was able to realize that his music, no matter how cool sounding has deeper meaning within. Try to listen and analyze and I know you'd get what I mean! And oh yea, I like to move IT!

Jogging Rest Day, Walking Healthily

running and jogging rest dayThis is the first week of my dedicated move to flex some bones and muscles. Yesterday was a success for my second day of run. Today, Thursday, is my rest day. I run one-day-apart so I have a free day always in between and rests on weekend. Weekends are holy! The good thing is, rest days give me excitement to go on the next running day and to balance stuff, I walk to and from work also..

In total, a month around 30 kilometers is the total run while I walk all the way to work and go back home walking as well, unless I have some any other appointment that I need to hurry to, in any case, I take my back and walk with it in the morning and ride it for the appointment and go back home.

Jogging Succeeded, Day 2

Wednesday came and it's the second day that I must run! Yes, I used the word "MUST" as I must do it! I created this blog to give me a constant reminder in case I am not consistent enough of what I am doing. As the same, I run to the same path, the direction of my office and from there, I run up and down of a 65-step stairs giving way to another road. For me, running is not that fun compared to other sports but what can I do? I cant wake my friends up at that hour and ask them to run with me, right?

What I did, I uploaded the jolly music and fast-rhythmic music to my mp3 player and just run with the playing music. The music actually helps a lot and the determination helps a lot. In short, the second day was a success and I am so glad about it.

As I write this now, it is my third day. I'll just have to change from pyjama to running gear and off I go. See you for the next update!

Running Rest Day Activity, Tuesday, 22 September

Tuesday came and it was my rest day. Now I see the real advantage of having a day free in between. As for a starter like me, it makes me relax for a day and then another running day would come. I have been thinking if I do the weekends but I have not decided yet. I think it is okay to do and it is also all right to leave the weekends holy for my rest. Either way, I will still be okay. But of course, any suggestions from you is highly appreciated. Here is the beginning of my post.

Since Tuesday was my rest day, I did an alternative at home by doing some curl ups in the morning before going to work. And know what? I also went to work walking in the morning. Although I brought my bike with me, I did not ride it. I brought it because I needed to consult my physiotherapist and I needed to hurry in doing that.

About the physiotherapist? It's another story that needed to be tld here... :) Looking up for the next running day post!

Running Is Healthy Day 1

Today is the first day I am doing this and this blog is to encourage me to do it consistently: running! Today, I did around 2000 meters plus 130 steps up, 130 steps down goung up the bridge. Getting up of the bed is not very easy in this cold and dark autumn but I have to do it or else I will end up shapeless despite my very young age. I want to be fit. I need to be fit! Today, day 1 that I decided to record what I do, is dated 21st of September 2009. I dont like running so much alone but still, I know the benefits are not that bad! It's good!H

I plan to do it every other day and log everythibg here so that if I miss something, you guys can encourage me and I can also be aware of it and be self-encouraged. Wish me luck my friends for my good health and proper fitness.

I started at 6:15 and get back at 6:35, quite fast as it is not so far away. I had to take lights though, those that are portable for my own safety to be not hit by other runners or my bicycles and motorcycles.
